Town offices are collaborating with Wayne County Public Health to help residents register for COVID-19 Vaccination Appointments. According to Diane Devlin, “Many of our residents do not have computer and internet access.” This collaboration is an attempt to reduce the digital divide that may be preventing some residents from securing a COVID-19 vaccination appointment. According to Town Supervisor Anthony Verno, “If you do not have internet services or a computer and you need assistance to electronically register or you do not have transportation to get to a COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic please call your local town office at (315) 589-8100.” Senior citizens who do not have computer access or transportation are encouraged to call the Wayne County Office for Aging and Youth at (315) 946-5624 or their local town office. Kenneth Miller, Chairman of the Board of Supervisor said, “We are pleased to be able to assist in ensuring equitable access to COVID-19 Vaccinations is available for all Wayne County residents.”
