The Town Board oversees all town operations and finances of the Town of Williamson. The board consists of five council persons, one of whom is also the Supervisor, who have terms of four years and are elected by popular vote. In coordination with the Town Clerk and other elected officials and department heads, the board responds to issues and matters that come up from citizens. Town authority originates from New York State Town Law statutes that give town’s authority and responsibility to oversee town operations. Town board meetings are held the second Tuesday each month and all meetings are open to the public.
