The New York State Department of Transportation will be starting construction of a maintenance paving project on Route 104 in the towns of Williamson and Sodus (see attached project map). The project is scheduled to begin in early August 2020 and be completed by the end of October 2020.

This project will improve the existing pavement condition and rideability by resurfacing Route 104 from just east of Pound Road to Rotterdam Road. The project also includes the removal and replacement of several small culverts between Redman Road and Rotterdam Road as well as the installation of rumble strips throughout the project limits.

Route 104 will remain open to traffic during construction. Short term daily lane closures will be utilized during paving operations and culvert replacements. Drivers will be informed of construction work areas with variable message boards and temporary work zone traffic control signs.
