Now that winter is upon us, please remember to SLOW down. Leave ten minutes earlier to allow for extra travel time. Know the weather conditions for where you’re traveling to as they tend to change quickly in this area. Keep a safe distance between you and surrounding vehicles. Drive accordingly for road conditions – NOT the speed limit – when weather is bad. Ice is dangerous and can’t always be seen so be alert. My crew and I take pride in our jobs and strive to keep our roads in the best condition. It’s impossible to fight Mother Nature but we will do our best. Give our trucks and plows room on the road – they’re only trying to do their jobs.
Please be cautious while driving and stay safe this winter.
