A Work Session of the Town Board of the Town of
Williamson, County of Wayne and State of New York was held in the Town Complex
Court Room located at 6380 Route 21, Suite II, at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, July 27,
2010. The following were
PRESENT: Supervisor James D. Hoffman

ABSENT: Councilman Anthony Verno
The Board reviewed bills for payment.
The Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of
Williamson was held in the Town Complex Court Room located at 6380 Route 21,
Suite II following the Worksession and was called to order at

ABSENT: Councilman Anthony Verno
Chris & Tina Nyarady, Ed & Catherine Fess, Jacqueline Walker, Phil Dean,Wilma Young; Sun & Record, and the undersigned Town Clerk were also present.
Public Comment: Jackie Walker questioned The Board about
going into “Executive” session for “Personnel Reasons” at the last
meeting. She read and submitted the
Public Officers Law, Article 7 known as the “Open Meetings Law” regarding
Executive session. Chris Nyarady; a resident of Lakewood Estate stated his concerns
and asked The Board for clarification about a walkway easement to Lake Ontario
that shows on a map he has. Supervisor
Hoffman gave him a copy of the official filed map of Lakewood Estates and asked
if they could meet after the meeting to discuss it. It was agreed.
Supervisor Hoffman made a motion, seconded by Councilman Orbaker, to accept and/or file the letters and other forms of communication.

Supervisor Hoffman made a motion, seconded by Councilman Watson, to accept the Consent Agenda containing the following items:
a. previous minutes:
b. pay the Library bills as audited by the Library Board of Trustees:

The motion was carried.
Supervisor Hoffman made a motion, seconded by Councilman Orbaker, to authorize the Town Supervisor to sign the annual software support contract with Williamson Law Book Co. for technical and software support for the accounting program. The cost of this support contract will be $825.00 per year. The motion was carried.

Supervisor Hoffman made a motion, seconded by Councilman Bixby, to authorize the Town Clerk to sign the annual software support contract with Williamson Law Book Co. for technical and software support for the Town Clerk Program. The cost of this support contract will be $605.00 per year. The motion was carried.

Councilman Bixby made a motion, seconded by Councilman
Orbaker, to authorize the Town Supervisor to sign a maintenance agreement with WaterWise Inc. for a complete water treatment service
program of the Evaporative Cooler, Glycol Loop and Hot Water Loop. The cost of this maintenance agreement will
be $1227.76 from

cost of this contract last year was $1192.00 ( an
increase of 35.76)
Councilman Orbaker presented the following Resolution and moved its adoption. It was seconded by Councilman Bixby.
WHEREAS: The Code Enforcement Officer has been directed to submit a report to
the Town Board detailing unsafe conditions of five abandoned homes in Williamson,
which are as follows:
WHEREAS: The Town Board of the Town of
and determined that the conditions at said properties is unsafe and/or dangerous, and is a
public nuisance,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Town Board shall hold a Public
Hearing on
Property Nuisance Abatement Code, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk is ordered to advertise in the
appropriate papers the week of
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Town Board instructs the Town
Supervisor to serve a notice to the owners of said properties, in accordance with Section
135-6 that they will be required to attend the Public Hearing and that they have to
commence the amelioration of the code violations sited in the code officers report and
that remedies must be made no later than 60 days upon service of notice.
